Originally from Covington, Louisiana, Don Lagarde has been a real estate licensee for 24 years and is the Qualifying Broker for the Outdoor Properties, LLC office located in Fairhope, Alabama. In addition to being a licensed residential home builder, Don is also a licensed Alabama manufactured home retailer who works closely with developers to build workforce housing through manufactured homes, representing many manufacturers in the industry.
A graduate of Tulane University, Don had the honor of working with his father and brother in the family insurance firm for 35 years which focused on employee benefits and tax-free income via specially designed life policies. Don is married to Dorothy Benton Lagarde who is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Don and Dorothy have three daughters, Mary Helen, Lizzie, and Ann Baker; all of whom graduated from or are currently attending Auburn University.
Don is also very proud to have attained Scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout in 1975 and is a licensed pilot who began his love for aviation at the age of 16. He is a current member of the Gone Broke Flying Club and continues to enjoy flying in his free time today.
