Thunder Valley Ranch

This 1400 +/- acre Ozark Mountain Valley is a true sportsman’s paradise. Running lazily throughout the property is a stretch of more than 3.5 miles of Red River. A well-established road contours the river from the beginning of the tract to the end. Locked gates guard each access point. This road system served as the track location for the Missouri and North Arkansas Railroad from 1906 until its end of existence in 1946.

Over 100 acres of cleared land dot the property where a local cattleman runs several head of beef. These fields are scattered along the lowland on both sides of the river. Large oaks and other hardwood timber have their space in this habitat as well. Chalk bluffs shadow over the fields and river basin giving one a feeling of isolated refuge. Ridgetops can be found above the bluffs offering topographical extremes synonymous with the Ozarks.

A 3bdrm/1bth cabin sits close to the entrance of the land. It is supplied with power, well water, and propane. Most all the furnishings, including appliances, will remain with the home, only a few personal items will be taken. Although this property feels remote, its location to areas in Central Arkansas is surprisingly close. The entrance to Thunder Valley is minutes from Highway 65 between Clinton and Leslie. Conway is approximately 59 miles south, Little Rock – 90 miles south, Clinton – 19 miles south, and Mountain View sits about 38 miles northeast of the gate.
