The Goat Farm

Located in one of the most sought-after hunting areas in the state, lies a cozy hunting cabin and 2 tracts of “wetland enrolled hunting property”. Tract 1 has 100 acres more or less with cabin and Tract 2 has the pole shed and 320 acres more or less.

Both tracts have had extensive work done by the Natural Resources Conservation Service in developing and restoring waterfowl hunting areas as well as some other areas for deer, turkey and small game. This farm provides excellent habitat for a wide variety of species as well as unbelievable upland and waterfowl hunting opportunities.

This farm was enrolled into a perpetual Wetlands Reserve Program/Easement back in 2017-2018. Some land restrictions apply. Contact Joey Burch for details about WRP enrolled land.

• Approximately 95,000 trees have been planted by the NRCS (info provided by the NRCS)

Location: The farm is located on Hwy 260, south of McCrory, Arkansas and lies between the Rex Hancock Black Swamp WMA and the Bayou DeView / Cash River NWR.
